Engineering, Construction and Maintenance Contractor, McConnell Dowell chooses ProjectCentre to manage their infrastructure projects. Currently, McConnell Dowell (in joint Venture with Adelaide based company, Built Environs) is using ProjectCentre on the Common User Facility project in South Australia for Defence SA. The project scope includes the design and construction of Australia’s largest ship lift and transfer system, a 300 metre Runway and dry berth and a 213 metre fitting out wharf. McConnell Dowell Built Environs commenced using ProjectCentre for the initial planning and approvals phase and have now extended this use to the construction phase. They view ProjectCentre’s web-based system as a good way to control and track correspondence with their client and key stakeholders. “ProjectCentre certainly makes correspondence to and from clients and subcontractors easy and efficient.”
